About the event
Welcome to River City Vault Club located in Cape Girardeau Missouri.  RCVC is one of the premier privately owned pole vault training faciliies in the Midwest.  At this  camp, your kids will learn the basics of pole vaulting; how to hold the pole, how to run with the pole and how to plant the pole.  Kids will also compete in athletic events like, running, jumping and various strength exercises.   We will also teach basic sprint mechanics  so your kids can learn to maximize their speed.  This will be a fun camp but will also be a tiring camp, so be prepared for them to sleep well that night.  Please make sure your kids wear running shoes, shorts and t-shirts.  Also make sure they bring water and a towel. Parents are invited to attend and watch in our seating area.  Â
